Eggert Benedikt Guðmundsson has been appointed the CEO of ReMake Electric ehf. ReMake has successfully developed the eTactica energy management system which is a leading solution in its field. The company will now focus on sales and marketing internationally.

ReMake has developed a unique and very effective solution for energy management in companies and real estate management. Our objective now is to scale up our international operations by growing our partnership network and sales effectiveness and I am very pleased to have such an experienced leader as Eggert Benedikt to lead that project,” says Þórður Magnusson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ReMake Electric ehf.

According the Eggert Benedikt, this is an exciting project: “ReMake offers solutions which aid companies in energy management and increase operational safety. It is an effective tool for reduction of energy consumption and the reduction of emission of greenhouse gasses. The worldwide mandate is to honour the goals and commitments which were agreed in Paris at the end of last year. We will emphasise building up a sales network as ReMake’s technical solutions are already well developed and ReMake has all the characteristics to be a leading player in energy management globally. The team at ReMake is a great one. I am therefore excited to take on this project as I am able to make use of my experience in electrical engineering, marketing and company operations.

Ina Björk Hannesdóttir who has recently been the head of Remake Electric, will take on the role of director of operations.
